NCT’s Taeyong recently shared a lighthearted update on Instagram for the Chuseok holiday. He rode the train to visit his family, but it seems his older sister, who had a reservation, didn’t respond when he asked for his seat number. As a result, Taeyong ended up sitting on the extra fold-down seats near the luggage compartment.
She posted a screenshot of their text messages, which showed her attempts to contact her sister:
Taeyong: “Where is my place? Kekeke.”
Taeyong: “Please tell me where I belong.”
Taeyong: “Heyyyyy.”
Taeyong: “Hey hey. Keke.”
Taeyong: “Heeeeee. Answer the phone.”
Taeyong: “Hey boy.”
Taeyong: “I’ll go up first.”
Taeyong: “You booked the premium seats, but I’m currently sitting on the fold-down seats.”
Fans noticed a photo of Taeyong making a playful gesture towards his sister. Many interpreted it as a funny sibling interaction.
However, some tried to use the images to criticize him, with one gossip account reposting the photos with the caption, “NCT’s Taeyong gives his sister the middle finger.” Despite these attempts, most fans dismissed it as a normal, affectionate exchange between siblings.
Fan Reactions:
- “Isn’t a greeting between brothers a dirty word?” — 2rznzkn
- “That’s really sweet of him, bitch.” — YUuUmiYUuUmi
Taeyong has since removed the photos from his Instagram.
