Lee Na-eun’s career came to a halt in 2021 after former member Lee Hyun-joo accused her of bullying, followed by further accusations of school violence. Although the accusations were later retracted, the damage led to APRIL’s disbandment in early 2022.
In a recent video, Kwak Tube featured Lee Na-eun as a guest during her trip to Italy. In the video, he admitted that he blocked her due to the bullying rumors but expressed regret, while Lee Na-eun shared her sadness at being misunderstood. After the video was released showing Kwak Tube defending Lee Na-eun, who was reflecting after the controversy, subscribers reacted strongly and criticized Kwak Tube.
Following backlash, Kwak Tube deleted the video and issued an apology, acknowledging its lack of consideration and promising to be more thoughtful in creating future content.
