The entertainment industry was also buzzing this week. Various events were held, from fashion brand showcases to movie premieres. It was a fun-filled week, with stars showing up in different outfits at official events.
The best dressed of the week was model and actress Jang Yoon-ju. Her slim model-like figure allowed her to show off her outfit perfectly. The worst dressed was actress Park So-dam, who surprised viewers with her shocking outfit combination.
◆ Best – Jang Yoon-ju
Reporter Kim Seong-hyun: Jang Yoon-ju, showing off the poses and presence of a veteran model, made it to the top of this week’s fashion. The outfit featured a sheer top with casually rolled-up sleeves and a natural-looking white skirt. It paired the overall white tone with a neat yet bright atmosphere, creating a wonderfully cheerful atmosphere.
Reporter Kang Na-ri: True to her modeling background, her flat shoes highlighted her golden ratio and straight shoulders. The white two-piece and casually styled hair were wise choices that kept the look relatively relaxed.
Reporter Kwak Hyun-soo: The sheer and understated top made the outfit comfortable. The combination of the white two-piece and flats was made special thanks to Jang Yoon-ju’s modeling instincts.
Reporter Oh Ji-won: The ‘all-white sense’ from a top model. The simple color was enhanced by the elegant fit and appropriate accessories.
Reporter Choi Bo-ran: Fashion maximized the benefits of a clean white look. Although the color was unified, subtle differences in materials avoided monotony. Jang Yoon-ju’s supermodel aura even added a sense of elegance often associated with black fashion.
Reporter Gong Young-joo: Jang Yoon-ju was herself par excellence. No wonder she is a top model. She transformed even simple outfits into a well-dressed actress look with her magic! The delicate feel of the outfit was preserved while her overall charisma was enhanced.
◆ Good – Jo Yu-ri
Reporter Kim Seong-hyun: Jo Yu-ri, who showed off her cute charm, was selected for ‘Good.’ The mini dress with a ribbon accentuated her cuteness even more. The long boots were also a suitable choice for the look.
Reporter Kang Na-ri: The dress style that maximized the pure and cute look suited her well. The long wavy hair and the ribbon on the shoulder strap were lively. Pairing it with relatively chic long boots kept the look well-balanced without being over the top.
Reporter Kwak Hyun-soo: Unlike recent idols who tire the eyes with primary-colored outfits, Jo Yu-ri completed her look with her charm. The white dress and knee-length boots created a lively and adorable atmosphere.
Reporter Oh Ji-won: A look that further emphasized her cute image. It suits her. The choice of gender-neutral walker boots avoided any potential risk of looking childish.
Reporter Choi Bo-ran: The white dress with ribbon decorations was pure but graceful. The half-up hairstyle added a youthful charm to the outfit. The long lace-up boots provided an appropriate touch, maximizing the tenderness of the outfit.
Reporter Gong Young-joo: Jo Yu-ri wore a cute fairy dress with adorable long boots to perfection. Her elegant hairstyle enhanced the sophistication of the outfit.
◆ So-so – Lee Se-young
Reporter Kim Seong-hyun: The look was too simple. If there was one point, it might be Lee Se-young’s beauty and smile. The simple outfit didn’t seem to bring out much charm.
Reporter Kang Na-ri: Although the new work is clearly an emotional melodrama, the clerical-cassock-like dress almost made me confuse the genre.
Reporter Kwak Hyun-soo: Humility should not be excessive, and neither should order. The extreme order exuded a solemn atmosphere.
Reporter Oh Ji-won: A fashion that has no major flaws. It is too simple and lacks obvious charm.
Reporter Choi Bo-ran: Clean but just clean. The black dress was worn in a modern way. The choice of bold earrings with a front-parted hairstyle enhanced the sophistication of the outfit.
Reporter Gong Young-joo: Lee Se-young’s cute and eccentric features have been completely obscured. A more casual or flashy color choice would have been better.
◆ Bad – Do-hee
Reporter Kim Seong-hyun: From the trench coat ribbon to the high boots with patterns, too many elements mixed together made the look chaotic. The overall outfit’s saturation was also too low, losing its liveliness.
Reporter Kang Na-ri: A smart style should highlight the good points of the body shape and hide the bad ones, but Do-hee’s outfit seemed to only try to emphasize the bad ones.
Reporter Kwak Hyun-soo: There was no harmony between the trench coat, jeans, or boots. At first glance, it looks like a “Little Prince” cosplay.
Reporter Oh Ji-won: Although boots are trendy, they are difficult to wear. Especially for someone with Do-hee’s petite frame.
Reporter Choi Bo-ran: The T-shirt and jeans don’t match the trench coat she chose, and the midi boots make her legs look shorter. The outfit didn’t take Do-hee’s relatively petite proportions into account.
Reporter Gong Young-joo: The outfit shortened the legs and didn’t fit the concept. It would have been better to use a short skirt instead of small boots to add vivacity.
◆ Worst – Park So-dam
Reporter Kim Seong-hyun: It reminds me of ‘Hello, Francesca’. It’s a pity that I couldn’t aim higher with a clean pair of jeans.
Reporter Kang Na-ri: The all-black outfit is indistinguishable from afar, but up close it is a disappointing style. The oversized top paired with a curtain-like skirt created a heavy look.
Reporter Kwak Hyun-soo: Too dark to the point of being excessive. Park So-dam’s white features are floating. The outfit gave the illusion that Park So-dam was encased in a black sack due to the lack of attention to fit.
Reporter Oh Ji-won: The full bangs hairstyle and all-black style from head to toe made me feel stuffy. The slightly avant-garde skirt was another surprise.
Reporter Choi Bo-ran: Was it a tribute to “The Black Priests”? The style with black clothes, shoes, bag and hair color did not seem to aim for elegance. The fit was too loose, making it bulky. The hairstyle with full bangs exacerbated the feeling of suffocation.
