HYBE has responded to the injunction request for the reinstatement of Min Hee Jin as ADOR CEO. The update came after NewJeans personally held a YouTube live broadcast to request the return of Min Hee Jin, as well as ADOR’s original environment and dynamic.
Previously, on September 11, NewJeans gave HYBE a deadline to reinstate Min Hee Jin as ADOR CEO. The quintet asked the multi-label to rename Min Hee Jin by September 25.
On September 14, Korean news agency TenAsia shared an exclusive report detailing HYBE’s rejection of the request.

Read HYBE’s statement below:
“Once concluded, the agreement will cease to be effective upon termination.
In order to obtain legal confirmation of this matter, a “suit for confirmation of shareholder resolution agreement” has been filed, and we can patiently wait for the legal ruling. The dismissal of Min Hee Jin was an independent decision of the ADOR board of directors.
It has nothing to do with HYBE or the shareholders’ agreement. We regret that Min Hee Jin, who emphasized the importance of independent management as a separate company, did not respect the board’s decision.”
