IU, currently on her world tour, turned on the camera in a hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. “I was about to go to bed, it’s 12 o’clock. In Korea it’s probably 2 o’clock,” IU said. “I have 10 concerts left in other countries. That’s why I turned on the camera.”
When IU saw herself on camera, she covered her face, saying: “Ugh, my bags under my eyes..?” “I have no worries other than the cover… ‘First Love’ is the title,” IU said, regarding the cover she prepared for her concert in Thailand. “I practiced a lot while listening to it. When I had my birthday live, one of the UAENA in the chat said: ” IU, please show us how we practice covers!” When I practice covers, I often lose track and focus on the difficult pronunciation, which makes me sound a bit silly. IU said“The pronunciation was very difficult. That’s what worries me the most. I did three takes, and I liked the last part and it wasn’t easy.” However, IU performed the song perfectly and received a lot of applause. “I was so nervous. I was so happy while practicing because I loved this song,” IU said in Thai.
Meanwhile, IU will hold “2024 IU HEREH WORLD TOUR CONCERT ENCORE: THE WINNING” at Seoul World Cup Stadium on September 21 and 22.
However, after Korea’s qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup on the 5th, footballer Son Heung-min stressed, “The ground conditions are not good.
