Following initial rumors that G-Dragon will be making his solo comeback in October, his agency has provided more information on the news.
On September 12, Galaxy Corporation, BIGBANG GD’s label, addressed the media about the K-pop icon’s return to the music scene next month. In an article by OSEN, the company stated:
“G-Dragon’s comeback date has not yet been confirmed. It is still under discussion and we will announce it once the schedule is finalized.”

The statement was released in response to a report written by Ten Asia on the same day. According to the news agency, the star will release a digital single in October and appear on tvN’s talk show, “You Quiz on the Block.” The report also stated that GD and the Yoo Jae Suk-hosted show are currently trying to reconcile their schedules.
Previously, Galaxy Corp announced that GD was preparing for a solo song that would be unveiled in the second half of 2024. However, the agency continues to deny predictions of a comeback in October and November, attracting the attention of K-pop fans.
Meanwhile, this possible comeback is significant for VIP (BIGBANG fandom) as it will be GD’s first music release in seven years.
