On September 11 (local time), Nylon magazine published an interview with BLACKPINK’s Lisa.
According to this interview, Lisa reveals that the last thing she does before going on stage is quite unusual: instead of warming up her voice, she looks at herself in the mirror.
The BLACKPINK member also revealed that she would be bringing hand warmers, chocolate milk, and instant noodle cups backstage; her favorite noodle flavor would be Mama’s creamy shrimp Tom Yum.
Furthermore, the female idol states that she is about to switch to a new aesthetic, stating: “The top of the star [was] a cool statement piece for ‘Rockstar,’ and I’m so happy that people liked it. I’m getting into my bad girl era, so something that can bring out that vibe is going to be my next trend.”
The same interview also reveals how Lisa’s collaboration with Rosalía in “New Woman” came about.
In particular, Lisa shared: “I’ve always been a huge fan of his, and I have a great song. And I really wanted him to do it, and luckily, he said yes.”
