NewJeans bared their heart and soul for Bunnies fans in their explosive live broadcast.
On the night of September 11 (KST), the fifth-generation girl group sent the K-pop industry into a tailspin with their shocking revelations about HYBE’s alleged mismanagement, Min Hee Jin’s legal battle, the group’s future amid the conflict, and more.
“It’s been hard to see so many people who worked with us continue to be subjected to unfair demands and pressures even after our CEO was fired,” Hyein began, explaining why they decided to do the livestream.
The member added that it is frustrating for him to just watch the situation unfold and expressed concern for the future of NewJeans.
The NewJeans member revealed that he was worried about how people would react to their live broadcast and feared that viewers would accuse former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin of instructing them. Minji added that they couldn’t say everything because of their contractual issues.

“This [live stream] “We were prepared because the five members sincerely wanted to express our thoughts,” Hyein clarified.
During the broadcast, Haerin revealed the “unfair” and “incomprehensible” incidents even after their debut in 2022. She talked about the members’ leaked private records, such as medical information and documentation during their trainee days, and that the company had no proactive measures to address them.

“It was difficult to understand how our company, which is supposed to protect us, failed to handle and allow such information to leak,” Haerin said, adding that HYBE did nothing about it despite communicating its concerns to the company.
“Then in the middle of all this, our CEO got fired and we were left wondering who we can trust and who we can count on,” he added. “We came to the conclusion that if we don’t talk about this now, no one will know what we’re going through.”
Member Hanni then talked about the creative production and media content that they, Min Hee Jin, and the creative staff worked hard on, only to be hacked by HYBE.
“They infringed on our content,” Hanni said. “Content that not only we worked hard on, but also our staff who spent countless hours producing and publishing it exclusively for our fans.”
Minji also talked about some incidents that made her and her colleagues doubt whether HYBE really cares about NewJeans, stating that there are clear signs to the contrary.
“If they really care about us, they should stop saying they prioritize artists and instead let us make the music we love in an environment where we can be authentically happy,” Danielle said.
NewJeans went on to say that the way HYBE is currently operating is dishonest and wrong, and asked the company to reinstate Min Hee Jin and stop interfering. They also asked the company to stop harassing the former CEO of ADOR.
“HYBE just seems like an inhumane company. What can we learn from a company like this?” Minji said.
The live broadcast ended with NewJeans giving HYBE and its founder Bang Si Hyuk a deadline to restore “ADOR to its original state” by the 25th.
After they finished their live stream, their YouTube channel was deleted.
