On September 11, 2024, the girls of NewJeans shocked everyone by activating a surprise live stream. The live stream was hosted on a brand new YouTube account that was not affiliated with their existing company channel.
The girls introduced the live broadcast by reiterating that they had not been asked to do so by Min-hee-man JoyThey said they prepared it themselves because they had things they wanted to express.
In the live stream, the girls complained about the new I LOVE IT management and severely criticized him. They constantly referred to Min Hee Jin as “CEO” despite no longer being the CEO.
I have a feeling that we won’t be able to accomplish the things we planned with CEO Min, nor will we be able to achieve our dreams. All we did was work hard for our dreams. What did we do wrong? In just a week since CEO Min was removed, we have not been able to work with the director we have always worked with, and I am so worried that we will not be able to work with the staff that has been with us. They need to stop just saying that they prioritize the artists and that they are doing their best for us, and just leave us alone so that we can trust them, enjoy things, and make the music we like.
