NewJeans’ “Supernatural” and “How Sweet” continue to gain popularity on the major US Billboard charts

According to the latest chart (dated September 14) released by Billboard on the 10th (local time), NewJeans’ Japanese debut single “Supernatural” ranked at number 112 on the “Global (excl. US)” chart for 11 consecutive weeks.

Additionally, the double single “How Sweet” and the song of the same name, released in May, ranked 121st on the “Global (excl. US)” chart, remaining there for 15 consecutive weeks.

NewJeans has also confirmed its solid popularity on major national music charts. On the Melon Weekly Chart (compiled from September 2 to 8), “How Sweet” ranked 5th and “Supernatural” 11th, maintaining their top positions even after 3 and 2 months of release, respectively. NewJeans has consistently been loved for both its new and old songs, and has placed a total of 9 songs on this chart.

They have also shown their everlasting popularity in Japan. They have 7 songs on Spotify Japan’s “Weekly Top Songs” chart (counting period: August 30 – September 5).

Meanwhile, NewJeans proved their enduring status by winning four awards, including “World Icon,” “World’s Best Performer,” “Artist of the Year,” and “Musinsa Popularity Award” at “THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS 2024” held at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan on the 8th.

They were nominated for “Best Group” and “Best K-Pop” at the prestigious American awards ceremony “MTV Video Music Awards 2024 (MTV VMAs 2024).”
