HYBE has officially unveiled TUIDE, the first girl group from its new label ABD, marking another expansion of the company’s multi-label strategy. The seven-member group is expected to make its official debut in the second half of 2026, joining the increasingly competitive landscape of fledgling K-pop girl groups.
On July 20, ABD opened its official social media channels and released the first moving video of TUIDE’s logo, giving fans a glimpse of the group’s identity ahead of its debut.
The animation features different colors flowing together like waves before merging into a new hue, symbolizing the group’s vision of creating something unique through harmony and change.
The group’s name, TUIDE, comes from the phrase “Tune the tide.” According to the label, the name reflects the members’ ambition to create their own trends and embrace change by developing music and performances that represent their collective identity. TUIDE is made up of seven members: Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Seah and Yi Hani.
ABD says the group will focus on highlighting each member’s individuality while delivering synchronized performances based on strong teamwork and musical harmony.
TUIDE is the inaugural artist on ABD, HYBE’s new subsidiary label. The label name stands for “A bold dream”, reflecting his goal to push beyond conventional boundaries and explore new creative possibilities within K-pop. TUIDE represents ABD’s first major project since the label’s launch.
The group’s overall production is overseen by Han Sung-soo, who serves as the Master Professional (MP) for the project. Han Sung-soo has built a notable reputation in the K-pop industry, having contributed to the success of groups including: SEVENTEEN, After School, IZ*ONE and TWS. His involvement has heightened anticipation for TUIDE’s official debut.
With the K-pop industry continuing to welcome a new wave of rookie girl groups, TUIDE is already attracting attention as HYBE’s first girl group under the ABD label.
Supported by HYBE’s global infrastructure and Han Sung-soo’s manufacturing expertise, expectations are high to see how the group will stand out in an increasingly crowded market when it debuts later this year.
