Go Youn Jung will star in the next hit film Nambeoldirected by cinematographer-turned-director Lee Mo Gae, and began preparing for production. Set in the early Joseon Dynasty, Nambeol is a hard-boiled martial arts action film that follows a diverse group of warriors, each from different social classes and with different abilities, as they travel to the island of Tsushima to rescue captives kidnapped by Japanese pirates.
The project had already generated a lot of interest following the casting of Lee Byung Hun, and the anticipation grew further with Go Youn Jung officially joining the cast. The film will mark the first time the two actors will share the screen.
