Girls’ Generation’s Yuri is reportedly nearing the end of her longtime exclusive contract with SM Entertainment. With his deal expiring next month, attention is focused on whether he can renew his contract or start a new chapter with another agency.
According to a July 4 report, Yuri’s exclusive contract with SM Entertainment will expire next month, marking the end of an extraordinary 25-year relationship that began during her internship days. The singer and actress is currently weighing her options, including renewing with SM or signing with a new agency.
As Yuri has been actively balancing both her music and acting careers, she is also reportedly considering joining an agency that specializes in managing actors. However, it is expected that she will continue activities with the Girls’ Generation unit formed together with Hyoyeon and Sooyoung, known as “HyoRiSoo.” As a result, he is said to be carefully examining all possibilities before making a final decision regarding his future.
Yuri first joined SM Entertainment in 2001 after being selected as “Best Dancer” in a youth talent competition. After six years of training, she debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007.
