The former BIGBANG member TOP will hold a free fan meeting for 10,000 fans in Japan

According to Korean media, TOP will hold a free fan meeting at 6pm on July 9th at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama, Japan. The event is expected to invite around 10,000 members of the artist’s official Japanese fan community.

His agency explained that the fan meeting was prepared by TOP as a gift for the fans who continued to support him over the years. Ticket reservations will open first for Japanese fan club members starting June 5th. The event will be hosted by Masayuki Furuya, a well-known Hallyu MC in Japan. It is expected that TOP will prepare conversation segments and special programs specifically for local fans.

For many supporters, the event is significant because it marks another important step in TOP’s return to active promotions. The Japanese fan meeting comes after TOP returned to music with his first solo studio album, “Another Dimension,” released on April 3. The album contains 11 tracks, including the 2 title songs “Studio54” and “Desperado”.

According to StarNews, “Another Dimension” topped the iTunes chart in 15 countries and logged approximately 1.47 million Spotify streams in its first day. TOP originally debuted with BIGBANG in 2006 and left the group in 2023. Since then, he has continued activities in both music and acting. He also attracted a lot of attention for playing Thanos in Netflix’s “Squid Game” series.

Despite his departure from BIGBANG, many fans are still hoping for a reunion between TOP and the remaining 3 members. Their hopes continued because artists are still seen supporting each other’s work on social media.
