On September 6, Jennie’s agency ODD ATELIER (OA Entertainment) released a statement addressing the false rumors. They also promised to take strong legal action against those responsible for spreading misinformation and damaging his family’s reputation. The move underscores Jennie’s desire to protect her privacy and family despite the pressures that come with being a global celebrity.
“Lately, there have been constant fake news and illegal publications containing false information impersonating the artist [Jennie]the father of. We would like to firmly inform you that these claims are completely false and have no connection whatsoever with the artist. [Jennie],” the statement reads.
They added: “We urge everyone to be cautious when purchasing such illegal materials and to avoid any harm resulting from these false claims. We are taking legal action against those responsible for spreading these falsehoods, including pursuing criminal charges for defamation and obstruction of business through our law firm..”

In related news, Jennie will star in JTBC’s variety show “My name is Gabriele,” produced by Kim Tae Ho, known for his work on “Infinite Challenge.” On September 3, JTBC also released a poster confirming his participation in the episodes airing on September 27 and October 4.
Jennie will play the role of “Maria”, a woman born in 1996 who runs a bed and breakfast farm near Rome, Italy.
