On May 13, Min Do Hee uploaded a new video to her YouTube channel “Mini Dohee” titled “I Went Back 13 Years…” in which she recreated her iconic Reply 1994 character style and revisited memories of the drama that made her famous.
During the video, the actress was asked about the controversy surrounding a photo uploaded in 2025 that showed her putting her shoe-wearing feet on airport seats, sparking a backlash over public manners.
Without hesitation, Min Do Hee immediately apologized again. “Exactly. I’m sorry,” he said.
He then attempted to explain the behavior, although some viewers may still find it controversial. “It might sound like an excuse, but I’m short and my legs are short too,” she explained. “When I sit in chairs, my feet don’t comfortably touch the floor, so I’ve developed the habit of sitting cross-legged or lifting my feet.”
He added that the backlash eventually became a wake-up call. “After that incident, it definitely became an opportunity for me to fix the habit,” he admitted.
The original controversy erupted in September 2025 after Min Do Hee posted photos from an airport lounge with her feet resting on the seats while still wearing her shoes. Many netizens criticized the act as reckless and unhygienic in a shared public space.

At the time, she also issued a formal apology, stating: “I sincerely apologize for causing distress with my careless behavior. Wearing shoes while putting my feet on seats was inappropriate and I should have been more careful as a public figure.”
While some viewers appreciated his honesty in revisiting the issue, others questioned whether the explanation about his height and posture habits fully justified the behavior.
However, many fans praised Min Do Hee for openly acknowledging the criticism instead of ignoring the controversy altogether.
