Fans express deep sorrow after learning that Han Byul, a former YG Entertainment trainee and K-Pop Star 6 competitor reportedly died in recent years – reports only recently surfaced online.
Han Byul first gained recognition in 2017 via SBS K-Pop Star 6: The Last Chancewhere he impressed viewers with his bright personality and lively performance style. His cover of Meghan Trainor “All about that bass” she became particularly memorable, showcasing her playful charm and stage presence.
After the show, she joined YG Entertainment as a trainee, where she continued to pursue her dream of becoming an idol. She remained under the agency until around mid-2020, which became known when she opened a public social media account after leaving the company.
Later the same year, in October 2020, Han Byul was introduced as a contestant on the teen reality competition program CAP-TEENfurther demonstrating his continued passion for performing even after his departure from YG.
