BTS members RM and Jungkook candidly addressed past controversies, offering candid confessions that resonated deeply with fans.
The emotional moment occurred during the group meeting “BTS ‘ARIRANG’ WORLD TOUR” concert at Goyang Stadium, marking the long-awaited return to the group after years.
In front of thousands of fans, RM expressed gratitude while acknowledging the changes the group has gone through.
“We are showing a lot of changes, but what is important has not changed” he said. “The most important thing is that the seven of us decided to continue together.”
He stressed that all decisions were made carefully when they were over 30: “We are all over 30 now. As independent individuals, we have chosen to continue doing this together. These are decisions we have made to continue for a long time to come.”
RM then made a sincere appeal: “Please trust us just once. Believe in our changes and enjoy them.”
RM’s words carried more weight due to his past remarks. In a 2025 livestream, he openly admitted that the group had seriously considered their future.
At the time he revealed: “We asked ourselves countless times whether it would be better to disband or put the group on hold.”
By bringing this topic back to the stage, RM showed a rare level of honesty regarding the internal struggles behind BTS’s ongoing journey.
Jungkook also took the opportunity to address his recent controversy.

In early 2026, he attracted criticism after a late-night livestream in which he used foul language and spoke openly about personal habits. While some fans appreciated his honesty, others found him uncomfortable.
On stage he reassured fans: “No matter the situation, everything I say and do for you is sincere.”

And he added decisively: “I will work so hard for you that my body will break. If you wait for me, I will return with an even better performance.”
Previously, Jungkook had already apologized via live stream, acknowledging that his behavior could have caused distress and promising to be more careful.
As RM and Jungkook spoke, the fans in the stadium responded with loud chants “All right”, showing their continued support.
The moment highlighted the unique bond between BTS and ARMY — one built not only on music, but also on honesty and mutual understanding.
Despite controversies and evolving identities, BTS has made one thing clear: They are committed to continuing together.
