A shocking security breach has emerged during BTS’ “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG'” after 500 concert wristbands were reportedly stolen from the venue.
The theft occurred at the Goyang Stadium ticket office, where a male suspect reportedly grabbed a large batch of bracelets and fled the scene.
Police responded quickly and are currently tracking down the suspect using witness descriptions, while conducting searches in nearby areas.
These wristbands are a key part of the entry system, required alongside concert tickets.
With over 40,000 attendees per show, the theft has raised concerns about: possible unauthorized access, ticket fraud or resale schemes, and weaknesses in event security.
As news of the accident spread, fans flooded online communities with reactions:
- 100% a reseller LOL
- A dealer definitely did it
- Wow, 500 of them
- This is crazy LOL. It’s ridiculous that you can come in and take them like that… How is it possible to take 500 like that?
- How can the management be so bad?
- What will they do with it…?
- What’s the point of only having wristbands when seats are assigned? Will they just sit in the empty seats?
- It’s strange… what good are bracelets alone?
- LOL, honestly, this is so absurd, funny and confusing at the same time
Authorities are continuing their investigation and working to prevent any misuse of the stolen bracelets.
While the concerts went ahead without major disruption, the incident sparked broader discussions about security systems at large-scale K-pop events.
