On April 8, Heeseung opened a brand new Instagram account, where he shared a profile video along with a series of images. Notably, he included the name “EVAN” in his post, suggesting a new stage name for his upcoming endeavors.
The uploaded content features artistic close-up shots of parts of his body, including his elbow, eyes and wrist, as well as a short video of him looking directly into the camera. The mysterious and aesthetic concept quickly caught the attention of fans.
Last month, on March 10, Heeseung officially parted ways with ENHYPEN. His agency BELIFT LAB announced that he would be leaving the group to pursue a solo career. After his departure, ENHYPEN reorganized into a six-member lineup consisting of Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki.
Heeseung had previously reassured fans, saying, “I’m preparing an album so I can meet you again soon. I will always carry your love in my heart as I move forward.” Despite leaving the group, he confirmed his commitment to continue his journey in music as a solo artist.
