“When my mother, who meant everything to me, died two years ago, BTS’s song “Spring Day” helped me overcome the pain.”
Yuna (25), a Belgian fan who has been part of ARMY for 14 years, shared this in a recent written interview. Currently working as a model in Korea, she has supported BTS since their debut in 2013, when she was only 12 years old.
He explained, “‘Spring Day’ contains lyrics about enduring the cold winter until spring returns. When I was overcome with grief over losing my mother, those words brought me immense comfort.” The song Spring Day has long been known among fans for its emotional message about longing and healing.
It was also BTS that led her to leave her hometown in Belgium and settle in Korea. Yuna said, “As soon as I became an adult in 2019, I booked a flight to Korea. After visiting it more than ten times, I decided to make it my home.”
One of her favorite hobbies since moving has been visiting “BTS Landmarks” throughout the country. Among them, Busan remains the most memorable. “I have visited Busan, Jungkook and Jimin’s hometown, several times,” he said. “I still have the photos I took in front of the mural with their faces at Gamcheon Culture Village.”
His favorite member is Jungkook. He recalled, “I vividly remember crying while watching his showcase when he released his first solo album. I truly admire his passion and dedication to making his dreams come true.” Jungkook released his debut solo album GOLDEN in November 2023, achieving great success, including a No. 3 in the UK charts.
Yuna will also attend BTS’ comeback show at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21. “I have been counting the days, knowing that I will finally see all seven members perform together again after 3 years and 9 months,” she said excitedly.
When asked what she wanted to say to Jungkook, she shared a heartfelt message: “Jungkook! The big day is finally here. I’m so excited that BTS is back together with a new album. It must be thrilling and nerve-wracking, but I really think you’ll do an amazing job!”
