Netizens quickly reacted to this unusual moment, expressing disbelief and curiosity. Comments ranged from “It is true?” to admiration as “He’s good with chopsticks too.” Others referred to his tastes, jokingly “He clearly knows good food,” while some said the photo made them crave instant noodles. The fact that he was eating raw ramyun straight from the bag added another layer of intrigue for fans.
Interestingly, the Shin Ramyun package that Appelhans was holding contained the character “Mira”. KPop Demon Hunters. The product is part of a collaboration launched in August last year by Nongshim, the brand behind Shin Ramyun. The collaboration included specially designed packaging inspired by the film, incorporating elements such as the characters and cup noodle designs seen in the film.
With Appelhans bringing the collaborative product to such a high-profile event, public interest in the partnership increased even further.
