According to court records dated February 27, Jun Ji-hyun purchased a building in September last year located in Seongsu-dong 1-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The property consists of a basement and five above-ground floors with a total area of approximately 1,042㎡, purchased for KRW 18.6 billion. It also acquired another building nearby with one to three floors above ground and a total area of approximately 1,129㎡ for KRW 26 billion.
Furthermore, it purchased a 50㎡ plot of land located between the two buildings for KRW 2.2 billion. Taking this into account, the total acquisition cost amounts to KRW 46.8 billion.
On February 23, Jun completed the remaining payment and finalized the ownership transfer registration. A maximum debt amount of KRW 33.6 billion was set for the mortgage. Considering that the maximum guaranteed amount is generally set at around 120% of the loan, the principal loan amount is estimated at around KRW 28 billion.
The buildings are located at the top of Seongsu Atelier Street. Unlike nearby Yeonmujang-gil, where rents have risen sharply, the area is believed to still have room for further price growth.
Kim Kyung-hyun, team leader at Building Road Real Estate Brokerage Corporation, explained: “The sale price for pyeong was KRW 156 million, slightly higher than nearby transactions. However, considering Seongsu-dong’s growth potential, this appears to be a pre-emptive investment for future value.”

Jun Ji-hyun is known to own multiple real estate assets in Seoul. In 2023, he purchased a duplex penthouse at Acro Seoul Forest in Seongdong-gu for KRW 13 billion all in cash.
In 2022, it acquired a commercial property in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, for KRW 50.5 billion. It also owns commercial properties in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu and Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu.
In the past, Jun has made significant capital gains through various real estate investments. In 2021, it sold a building in Nonhyeon-dong, making a profit of KRW 14 billion. Previously, in 2014, he sold his residence in Samseong-dong, which he purchased for KRW 7.5 billion, for KRW 13 billion.
With this latest investment, Jun Ji-hyun now owns a total of five commercial properties. The total value of its real estate holdings is estimated to be close to KRW 150 billion.
