A 2013 episode of the EBS Youth Experiences programme “The Sweat of Real Experience: Cleaning Your Mind, Pig Farmer” has resurfaced online. In the episode, released on December 19, 2013, Woo Sung-min appeared as a high school student under the name Woo Gi-hoon. At the time, he was a high school sophomore preparing to become an actor. He explained it appearing on television even once could be beneficial to her future, whether it be for college admissions or joining an agency.
In the footage, Woo Sung-min worked on a pig farm, helping clean up waste and organize sawdust as part of the hands-on experience program. At the beginning of the show, he admitted that he was he felt like he had come to the wrong placestating that even before properly starting the work, the smell gave him a headache and his nose hurt.
His visibly exhausted and somewhat delicate reactions amused viewers, especially remembering Kim Go-eun’s comment “Single’s Hell 5,” where she described it as a feeling “like a paper person.”

ON “Single’s Hell 5,” Woo Sung-min constantly expressed his feelings for Kim Go-eun and remained by her side throughout the show. Even on Hell Island he continually started conversations and made his presence known. Despite receiving final picks from three male contestants, Kim Go-eun ultimately chose Woo Sung-min, explaining that she really enjoyed talking to him and felt like she could share more about herself when they were together.
AS “Singles’ Hell 5” gained popularity after its finale on February 10, viewers began revisiting the contestants’ past media appearances. Woo Sung-min had introduced himself on the show as an optician, but it was later revealed that he had also done acting work in the past, adding another layer to his unexpected backstory.
