On February 4, Cha Jung-won’s agency Saram Entertainment told Hankyung.com: “It is true that Cha Jung-won and Ha Jung-woo are dating with good feelings towards each other.” However, the agency was cautious about the wedding rumours, adding: “Nothing has been decided yet.”
The confirmation follows recent news regarding the alleged Ha Jung-woo “July wedding.” Dispatch previously reported that Ha Jung-woo and Cha Jung-won first met through mutual acquaintances in 2020 and eventually developed a romantic relationship. According to the report, the couple has been discussing marriage since last year and is considering summer this year, although no official plans have been finalized.
Born in 1978, Ha Jung-woo debuted in 2002 and first gained recognition through the film The forgiven man and the drama Lovers in Prague. He rose to top star status with The Hunter and continued to consolidate his position with a series of successful films, including My dear enemy, The Yellow Sea, Nameless Gangster: The Rules of Time, Berlin, Murder, The Handmaid, 1987and the Together with the gods series. It was widely praised for balancing box office success with strong acting performances.
