On January 29, KoreaBoo reported that the Chinese entertainment world is abuzz after paparazzi footage emerged showing Taiwanese actor Edward Chen (born 1996) and actress Lan Xiya (born 1998) together on what appears to be a romantic date.
According to the report, the couple was seen leaving a luxury hotel together before heading to a restaurant for dinner. As they walked down the street, they openly showed affection, hugging and holding each other without attempting to avoid public attention. After finishing the meal, Edward Chen and Lan Xiya returned to the same hotel, where they were again photographed walking arm in arm and holding hands.
Intimate moments captured by paparazzi have been widely circulated on social media and are seen by netizens as strong evidence of a romantic relationship. As of now, neither Edward Chen nor Lan Xiya have released an official response regarding the dating rumors.
