On January 27, Kim Hye Yoon appeared in episode 124 of the web variety show Salon Drip on TEO’s YouTube channel, alongside actor Lomon. During the interview, MC Jang Do Yeon talked about the huge success of a previous video featuring Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok, noting that it had surpassed 15 million views and was probably the most viewed video on the entire channel.
Jang Do Yeon then mentioned the popular chemistry between Kim Hye Yoon and Byeon Woo Seok in tvN’s 2024 drama Lovely Runner and asked her about the recent coffee truck she sent him. Kim Hye Yoon warmly responded, “I heard he has been very busy with filming lately, so I sent him to encourage him.”
When asked if coffee trucks are usually coordinated in advance, Kim Hye Yoon explained, “Sometimes we talk about it in advance, but other times I just send one after I see an article that says they’re rolling.”
The conversation then turned to the cheeky banners often seen on coffee trucks. Jang Do Yeon quoted the witty phrase on the banner that Kim Hye Yoon sent to Byeon Woo Seok, which read, “Please use two spotlights for Woo Seok oppa.” The phrase has fans speculating online.
Kim Hye Yoon admitted, “I saw that line somewhere and thought it was clever, so I remembered it. It’s hard to come up with something like that on your own.” Lomon added: “Usually the sender writes the message themselves, or sometimes they get help from the coffee truck company.”
The playful exchange and gesture of support once again delighted fans of the “Lovely Runner” duo, proving that their on-screen chemistry has blossomed into a sweet friendship off-screen.
