On the January 10 broadcast of the SBS Plus talk show “Lee Ho Sun Cider,” the cast discussed stories about so-called “bad guys in the workplace.” After hearing the story of a junior employee who repeatedly made mistakes, avoided responsibilities with tears, and passed tasks on to others, Kim Ji Min shared that he had experienced something strikingly similar in his career.
According to Kim Ji Min, the incident occurred while he was working on a comedy segment with a younger colleague. “I asked a student to prepare something in advance, but they didn’t,” he recalled. He admitted that he tended to be lenient as a senior, often saying: “Okay, we can do it now. Let’s do it together,” instead of scolding them harshly.
However, the situation eventually crossed the line. When he finally spoke, the young man unexpectedly retorted, saying: “You don’t do anything either, senior.” The comment left Kim Ji Min furious.
“We were eating and I got so angry that I ran away” he said. What followed only compounded the shock. He described seeing the young girl happily chewing her food and walking energetically, until she noticed her car nearby. “The moment I rolled down the window, they immediately apologized. That sudden change in attitude, from front to back, traumatizes me to this day.”
Hearing the story, relationship expert Lee Ho Sun jokingly remarked: “With acting skills like that, I bet that person was successful.” To everyone’s surprise, Kim Ji Min agreed, revealing: “They were actually successful. We’re even close now.”
He explained the reality of the entertainment industry with a blunt observation: “When things are going well for them, there is no excuse to avoid each other. You have to survive together.” Lee Ho Sun responded with a sigh, commenting how difficult the industry can be.
