A video titled Shindong says everything he hesitates to say after drinking was recently uploaded to the CH.Theroots YouTube channel. In the video, Shindong shared a drink with model and influencer Lee Sian, engaging in an honest and fun conversation.
During the episode, Lee Sian casually asked Shindong if he was married. With a serious expression, Shindong jokingly replied, “I’m divorced. I also lost custody and I pay child support every month.” The comment surprised Lee Sian, before Shindong quickly clarified that he is actually single and has never been married. He explained that many people mistakenly believe he is married due to rumors stemming from his past public relationship.
Shindong previously revealed a public romance on SBS Strong heart in 2010, where he proposed on air. However, the relationship reportedly ended in 2013.
The conversation then turned to income. Shindong asked Lee Sian if her earnings had increased significantly after appearing Single’s Hellalthough he stopped short of asking for exact figures. Lee Sian jokingly responded that she probably earns more than him, prompting Shindong to react with mock offense, saying he felt “completely ignored”.

Lee Sian added that an extra zero was added to her earnings, which Shindong joked about, “So you were already earning well before. So, now you’re making 100 million won a month? Only 100 million won a month?” The playful exchange sparked laughter among viewers.
Meanwhile, Shindong previously revealed that he made significant profits by selling SM Entertainment shares at their peak. He has also made headlines for his real estate moves, having lived in a luxury villa in Hannam-dong United Nations Village before recently moving to an apartment overlooking the Han River, worth about 3 billion won.
