On September 2, NewJeans’ Danielle posted several messages via NewJeans’ exclusive fan communication app, Phoning, expressing her concerns over the recent firing of Min Hee-jin, her group’s main producer.
In particular, Danielle said, “I couldn’t open it (Phoning) for a while because I needed some time to think about it. Sorry,” adding“Even my bunnies (NewJeans fans) must have been very worried and confused.”
“Actually, since the CEO was fired, it’s been tough and I have a lot of worries. My mental state hasn’t been great for a while; I just feel restless,” Danielle also shared, before thanking fans saying“Please know that we are always very grateful for our bunnies and we are always thinking of you.”
It appears that former CEO Min Hee Jin had a profound influence and connection with the members, especially the two Australian members, Danielle and Hanni.
Previously, Hanni also reportedly mentioned Min Hee-jin and showed support for the former ADOR CEO.
