The production team of the YouTube channel DdeunDdeun announced this on December 17th Wardrobe Raider reboot would cease further uploads. In an official statement, the team explained it afterwards “considering the cast member’s position and surrounding circumstances comprehensively,” they decided to end production. They also thanked viewers for their support and asked for understanding for the sudden decision.
Wardrobe Raider reboot was a fashion talk show starring Key, named after her real name Kim Kibum. The program aired every two weeks on Friday nights and had only released two premiere episodes on November 21 and a second episode on December 5 before being scrapped.
After the announcement, viewers expressed mixed emotions in the comments, saying things like “It was really fun, so it’s disappointing.” “It was a quick and reasonable decision” AND “The production team must feel devastated after putting in so much effort.”
The controversy arises from Key’s alleged connection to an individual known as “Injection Aunt”, identified as A, who is also linked to broadcaster Park Na-rae’s allegations of illegal medical treatment. Suspicion arose after photos of a dog believed to be Key’s pet appeared on A’s social media account.
After remaining silent for 12 days, Key addressed the issue on December 17 through his agency, SM Entertainment. SM stated that Key was introduced to A through an acquaintance and initially believed that A was a licensed doctor working at a hospital in Gangnam. The agency confirmed that while Key received care primarily in the hospital, there were also occasions when he was treated at home due to scheduling difficulties, thus acknowledging illegal medical practices.
SM added that Key only learned that A was not a licensed doctor after the medical license controversy emerged. The agency underlines this “Key is reflecting deeply on his ignorance” and announced its decision to resign from all scheduled activities and ongoing programs in recognition of the seriousness of the matter.

Key also issued a personal apology via social media, stating: “I thought I could keep my distance from things like this, but that trust has prevented me from looking around more carefully. I am deeply sorry and ashamed of those who trusted me and supported me.”
Following the scandal, Key resigned from tvN Fantastic Saturdaywhere he had appeared since 2018, as well as MBC I live aloneof which he had been a member for three years. He also pulled out of his scheduled role as the upcoming MC MBC Entertainment Awards on December 29th.
The situation continues to spark debate online, with many lamenting the collateral damage to production staff and programs, while others highlight the importance of accountability when public figures are involved in illegal practices.
