On September 2, during the press conference for “Love in the Big City” (directed by Lee Eon-hee) held at Megabox Seongsu in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, Kim Go-eun shared her reasons for joining the project.
Kim Go-eun said: “This is a project I’ve been waiting for a long time. I got the script two and a half years ago and waited for it to be made, so I was so happy when it finally came out.“
He added: “I decided to participate because the script was very interesting. I really liked how honest and direct it was..”
When asked if her intuition about success has sharpened since the success of “Exhuma,” she modestly replied: “I think it’s not bad.”
“Love in the Big City,” scheduled for release on October 2, tells the story of Jae-hee (played by Kim Go-eun), a free spirit who doesn’t care what others think, and Heung-soo (played by Noh Sang-hyun), who is used to distancing himself from the world. The film explores their unique way of loving each other while living together.
