On December 9, Park Na-rae’s former manager, who had previously accused her of workplace abuse, coercive behavior and misconduct, spoke to Channel A and strongly denied Park Na-rae’s claim that the two sides had resolved their misunderstanding during a three-hour conversation.
“We talked for about three hours, but I didn’t receive an apology and there wasn’t any kind of agreement,” the former manager said.
According to the manager, when they confronted Park Na-rae about the situation: “We told her that we’ve been putting up with this for a month and we can’t tolerate it anymore. Park Na-rae replied, ‘Then let’s sue.'”
The manager added that he was shocked to read Park Na-rae’s public statement in which he said the misunderstandings had been clarified: “It seemed like he only met with me to prepare his official statement. It seems like an attempt to buy time and shift public opinion.”
Park Na-rae had previously denied allegations of special assault, verbal abuse and illegal taking of proxies, saying on December 5 that her former managers had demanded “10% of the previous year’s earnings even after receiving severance pay.”
Then on December 8 he told the public that he had met a former manager and that he had resolved misunderstandings and mistrust.
However, the former manager’s rebuttal reignited the dispute, pushing public scrutiny to new heights. Park Na-rae’s team has since announced that they will release an additional statement addressing the “nurse aunt” incident, the embezzlement allegations and other allegations.

Park Na-rae resigned from every program she appeared on, stating, “Until everything is resolved clearly, I have decided to suspend all broadcast activities.”
However, as new allegations emerge, public sentiment continues to sour, raising questions about when and whether his return might be possible.
As the former manager publicly disputes Park Na-rae’s narrative, the scandal has entered a new phase. With further statements expected and multiple investigations underway, the focus is now on how Park Na-rae will respond and whether her legal team will be able to counter the mounting allegations.
