As excitement grows for the 2025 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) in Kaohsiung, Bo-gum Park has already made headlines, not on the red carpet, but in a humble Taiwanese restaurant.
The Korean star landed quietly at Kaohsiung International Airport on the afternoon of December 5, greeted by loud cheers from fans. But it was what happened a few hours later that really won the internet.
One stunned local shared online that while queuing for a bowl of braised pork rice at the Michelin-recommended restaurant Bo Hong Lu Rou Fanthey noticed unexpectedly Bo-gum Park casually standing outside the store.
“The odds of that happening are crazier than winning the lottery!” the fan exclaimed.
Instead of opting for hotel service, Bo-gum Park he chose to explore Taiwan’s street food scene, dressed simply in a black tracksuit and sunglasses around his neck.
The fan initially hesitated to approach him, fearing that they might disturb the star. But when Bo-gum Park ready to go, the fan sweetly asked for a photo – and was warmly greeted with a beaming smile and an enthusiastic yes.

The images, showing Bo-gum with a V sign and a gentle smile, quickly went viral, gaining over 60,000 likes online.

Bo-gum Park‘s low-key exits only fueled fans’ excitement as she prepared to appear AAA 2025. With his braised pork rice now public, fans are jokingly guessing, “Will he try beef soup next time?”
The AAA red carpet kicks off on December 6, with stars like IU, Shuhua and IVE also in town. But for many lucky Kaohsiung residents, the highlight came a day early, in the form of a warm-hearted Hallyu superstar who lives like a local.
