Actress Jo Hye-won got emotional as she walked down the aisle at her wedding to Lee Jang-woo, an event that aired on the Dec. 5 episode of I live alone (Ep. 625), which marks Lee Jang-woo’s graduation from the members of “Rainbow” after six years on the show.
The ceremony opened with webtoon artist and TV host Kian84 taking on the role of MC, offering a humor-filled introduction. Borrowing the tone of a fight announcer, he declared, “Height 184 centimeters, weight 108 kilograms: Lee Jang-woo!”
He explained that the dramatic style was inspired by his love of mixed martial arts.
When Kian84 asked for “the most beautiful bride, Jo Hye-won”, she appeared on the aisle looking elegant and calm, until emotion suddenly overwhelmed her. As she walked down Virgin Road, Jo Hye-won’s eyes filled with tears, prompting reactions from I live alone members watching the video: “It’s like a drama” “She’s so beautiful.”
But the tender moment quickly turned heated during the voting segment. When asked if she promised to “faithfully fulfill her duties as a wife,” Jo Hye-won responded even louder than Lee Jang-woo, shouting: “I do!” His confident performance stunned the cast, prompting Key to laugh, “She’s a really great bride.”
Lee Jang-woo and Jo Hye-won, who met while filming the KBS2 drama My only onethey went public with their relationship in June 2023. They married on November 23, 2025, with Jeon Hyun-moo as the officiant and Kian84 as the MC. Singer Hwanhee, Jang-woo’s cousin, performed the congratulatory song. About 1,000 guests were reportedly in attendance.
Their marriage had a memorable history: during the 2023 MBC Entertainment Awards, where Lee Jang-woo won the award for best reality TV performer, he publicly told his then-girlfriend, “I might need to postpone the wedding… can I stay on ‘I Live Alone’ a little longer?”
Jo Hye-won waited, and now, two years later, her emotional walk down the aisle revealed how significant this moment truly was.
