Two actresses lose their homes in Blaze, Nicholas Tse and celebrities take to the streets to support the victims of the Hong Kong fires

The level 5 fire that broke out on November 26 in the Wong Fuk residential complex in Tai Po district, Hong Kong (China), left both local citizens and the international community in shock. By the evening of November 27, at least 55 people had been confirmed dead, and hundreds were still missing. Although the fire at Wang Fuk Court has been partially put out, the flames continue to smolder inside the buildings. The incident is considered the most devastating residential fire that Hong Kong (China) has seen in recent years.

According to HK01, two artists, former Miss Hong Kong Toby Chan, and six-time Hong Kong Film Awards nominee artistic director and costume designer Cheung Man, lost homes and family property in the fire. The damaged properties belonged to Toby Chan’s grandmother and Cheung Man’s grandfather. Fortunately, their relatives managed to escape before the flames engulfed the buildings.
