South Korean boy band Riize will make their stage debut with their new single “Fame” on November 24 during a special event at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
The showcase, officially titled “RIIZE The 2nd Single Premiere”, will begin at 5pm and will mark the first public performance of the highly anticipated title track.
THE event will be broadcast live across Riize’s official YouTube and TikTok channels, allowing fans around the world to experience the show in real time. Korean fans will have the opportunity to attend the event in person, with attendance determined through a lottery system for official BRIIZE fan club members. The company said the showcase will be held free of charge as an expression of gratitude to fans for their continued support
“Fame” represents a significant artistic shift for Riize, marking their first venture into the rage-style hip-hop genre. The track combines bold and innovative rhythm structures with the raw texture of electric guitar, offering dynamic energy while maintaining an alternative approach. The lyrics carry a significant message, positioning the group’s identity as “emotional pop artists” and emphasizing that emotional connection and shared love matter more than the pursuit of fame itself.
The stage performance is designed to showcase the emotional depth of the piece through highly difficult choreography that requires strength and precise rhythm while maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. Dancer Ren Crisologo, who previously worked with Riize on the “Fly Up” music video, and US choreographer Nick Joseph collaborated to create the performance, adding international experience to the production.
The single “Fame” will contain a total of three songs and will be released on November 24th at 6pm across major music platforms and physical albums. The project focuses on the lesser-known aspects of the group’s journey, capturing the anxiety and emptiness of the members along with the intense emotions that emerge from their demanding schedule.
This return comes about six months after Riize released their first album, Odyssey, in May, which included hit songs like “Bag Bad Back” and “Fly Up.” Since July, the group has been actively connecting with global audiences through their first world tour, “RIIZING LOUD”, which concluded performances across North America, including stops in New York, Washington DC and Los Angeles through mid-November.
Additionally, Riize opened a special exhibition titled “Silence: Inside the Fame, Quiet and Waves” at the Ilmin Museum of Art in Jongno-gu, Seoul, starting November 16 and running until November 30, to commemorate the single’s release.
