ILLIT’s BELIFT LAB agency has announced a firm zero-tolerance policy against harmful posts and defamatory content spread online, particularly those aimed at underage members of the group.
On November 14, the agency released an official statement addressing the rapid wave of hateful comments, false rumors, and defamatory posts circulating in anonymous online communities and social media.
“We have confirmed a significant increase in malicious posts directed at ILLIT and individual members,” the agency said. “In particular, some underage members have been subjected to ongoing malicious attacks through anonymous communities.”
BELIFT LAB emphasizes that defamation, insults, slander and the dissemination of false information about artists are criminal offenses that will be prosecuted without exception.
The agency also warned users who try to delete posts after some time to avoid liability. “Even if posts are later deleted to destroy evidence, we collect all related material in real time through our monitoring system,” they said.
BELIFT LAB has confirmed that it will respond comprehensively across all platforms, including national and international portals, online communities and social media, and will continue to prosecute all violators without any resolution or leniency, in line with its zero tolerance principles.
The company encouraged fans to submit reports through the HYBE Artist Rights Protection reporting site, noting that it remains committed to safeguarding ILLIT’s rights and well-being. “We will continue to do our best to protect our artists,” the agency added.
