The members recently sang a meme song about islands.
NMI XX They recently came under fire when Japanese netizens began accusing them of harboring anti-Japanese sentiments because of a song they sang.
I can’t forgive the fact that it hasn’t been mentioned much, so I’ll just say this, but isn’t this parody of NMIXX’s song Dokdo (Takeshima) terrible?

The song uses various K-Pop and Korean songs and memes to talk about how Dokdo belongs to South Korea. While Korea currently holds the law on the islets, Japan has contested Korea’s claim to them. The small islet has become a persistent source of conflict between the two countries.
Despite the controversy, Korean netizens have expressed their support for NMIXX.
- taking the opportunity to watch NMIXX’s music video~ I hope they aren’t discouraged by it.
- NMIXX fights.
- Now I have a better impression of NMIXX.
- Bullshit LOL.
- So whose land is this, you brats?
- “Is this that shocking?” Bullshit. It’s our country, for starters.
