As 2025 comes to a close, K-drama fans are preparing for an exciting slate of new releases, from intense thrillers to romantic fantasies. Here are five Korean dramas you can’t miss this November, including a big project already advertised for early 2026.
1. Dear X – Previews November 6th
Adapted from a hit webtoon, Dear X captured fans’ attention from the moment its stellar cast was announced. The series follows Baek Ah-jin (played by Kim Yoo-jung), a seemingly perfect actress who hides a dark and manipulative side, and Yoon Joon-seo (Kim Young-dae), the man who becomes her fatal weakness.
Exploring the dual nature of the entertainment industry, the drama blends mystery and psychological intrigue. With 12 episodes in total, the first four episodes will release on November 6, followed by two episodes each Wednesday.
2. The River of the Moon – Previews November 7th
Combining real intrigue with fantasy, The River of the Moon reinvents the classic sageuk (historical) love story through a soul-changing creative twist. The story centers on Crown Prince Yi Kang (Kang Tae-oh), a man who has lost his joy in the unforgiving world of the palace, and Park Dal-yi (Kim Se-jeong), a merchant suffering from amnesia.

When the two accidentally switch bodies, their fates are intertwined with humor, heartbreak and mythical mystery. On air every Friday and Saturday, The River of the Moon promises lush cinematography and an enchanting balance between comedy and emotion.
3. While you were there – Premieres November 7 (Netflix)
A gripping series of psychological crimes, While you were there is an adaptation by Japanese novelist Hideo Okuda Noemi and Kanako. The story follows Eun-su (Jeon So-nee) and Hui-su (Lee Yoo-mi), two women pushed to the limit.

When Hui-su, a victim of domestic abuse, confides in Eun-su, the latter comes up with a shocking idea: “Let’s kill him.” What follows is a suspenseful journey of friendship, revenge and survival. The 8-episode series launches exclusively on Netflix on November 7.
4. Taxi driver 3 – Previews November 21st
The hit action-revenge series returns with Lee Je-hoon reprising his role as vigilante Kim Do-gi. Continuing its signature blend of thrilling missions and moral justice, Taxi driver 3 explores new cases of corruption and revenge while deepening Do-gi’s character arc.

With 16 episodes, the new season will air every Friday and Saturday starting November 21, maintaining its position as one of SBS’s flagship dramas.
5. Wife of the Grand Prince of the 21st century – Coming in 2026
Although slated for early 2026, this drama is already one of Korea’s hottest upcoming series, thanks to the long-awaited pairing of IU and Byeon Woo-seok.
Set in an alternate monarchy-era Korea, the story follows Sung Hee-joo (IU), a powerful heiress who lives as a commoner, and Lee Wan (Byeon Woo-seok), a prince with little power beyond his title. The drama promises an irresistible mix of romance, power dynamics and elite academic life, all wrapped in royal aesthetics.

The script, which won the 2022 MBC Drama Script Contest, was praised for its progressive characters and compelling narrative.
These five titles showcase the rich diversity of today’s K-drama landscape: from female-led thrillers and fantasy romances to thought-provoking revenge tales. Whether you’re a fan of gripping mysteries or timeless love stories, November 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting months for Korean television.
