WOODZ will hold his first solo concert since completing his mandatory military service on November 29 and 30 at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul’s Songpa District, his agency EDAM Entertainment announced on October 20.
Titled “2025 WOODZ Preview Concert: INDEX_00,” the two-day event marks his return to the stage nearly five months after his resignation in July.
Cho Seung-youn, known professionally as WOODZ, enlisted as an active duty soldier on January 22, 2024 and served in the military band of the Korean Military Academy. He was officially discharged on July 21, 2025, when he greeted fans during his discharge ceremony and expressed gratitude for their unwavering support. Since then, he has maintained public interest through brand endorsements and digital releases, consistently building anticipation for his comeback concert.
The concert poster, revealed via EDAM Entertainment’s social channels, features a striking close-up of WOODZ’s intense gaze against a background that mixes analog textures and digital patterns. The official logo, created by artistic director Paul Nicholson, underlines the artistic vision that guides this concert series. Fans can expect an immersive production that foreshadows WOODZ’s creative direction for 2026 and beyond.
Tickets will be on sale from a fan club presale at 8pm KST on October 27, followed by general sales at 8pm KST on October 29. All ticket information and concert guidelines will be available on WOODZ’s official channels. This program mirrors its previous concert cycle and emphasizes the strategic launch of fan-oriented events leading up to the show.
During his military service, WOODZ’s self-composed track “Drowning” experienced a resurgence on streaming platforms and hit the top spot on music charts, earning him a reputation as the “legend of the military break.” In September, shortly before his discharge, he released the digital single “I’ll Never Love Again,” which debuted atop the real-time music charts and reaffirmed his songwriting and production prowess.
WOODZ first debuted as a member of UNIQ in 2014 and launched his own soloist career under the moniker WOODZ in 2018. His 2023 “OO-LI” concert at the same venue marked his last major solo show before enlisting. Fans who witnessed that performance are now looking forward to discovering new interpretations of his evolving musical catalog, which ranges from R&B, pop and rock-infused alternative songs.
As he transitions from soldier to artist, WOODZ’s November concert will serve as both a homecoming and a preview of his next creative chapter. With high production values, a dedicated global fan base and a track record of chart-topping releases, the concert is set to become a defining moment in his post-service career trajectory.
