Top stars Jun Ji-hyun and Ji Chang-wook will co-star in the upcoming drama Human x Gumihowith production expected to begin in March 2026. Industry insiders report that casting is virtually confirmed, with both actors expected to star in the series.
The series is co-produced by HighZium Studio and Content Planner, with writer Im Mea-ri writing the script. I am known for his work The beauty inside (JTBC) e Ruin at your service (tvN), both of which received strong response from fans for their unique concepts and emotional storytelling.
Human x Gumiho is expected to air on JTBC, with streaming distribution likely split between Coupang Play for domestic audiences and Amazon Prime for international viewers. This multiplatform launch reflects the growing interest in Korean dramas in global markets.
This marks the second time Jun Ji-hyun and Ji Chang-wook will share the screen, following their collaboration in the film Colonydirected by Yeon Sang-ho, which began filming in March 2025.
