South Korean girl group NMIXX will launch its inaugural world tour with a two-night engagement at Incheon’s Inspire Arena on November 29 and 30.
Under the title “Episode 1: Zero Frontier,” the concerts will mark NMIXX’s first solo performances since debuting in February 2022 and the official start of his global touring activities.
The November 29 show will begin at 5 PM KST, followed starting at 4pm KST on November 30th. Each evening show will be held in the newly built Inspire Arena, which can accommodate up to 15,000 spectators, bringing the total capacity for the two nights to 30,000 fans.
Tickets for NMIXX fan club members will be available on October 27 at 8pm KST, with general sales opening on October 29 at 8pm KST via Yes24’s online ticketing platform. According to reactions from the fan community, demand is expected to be exceptionally high given the venue’s 360-degree stage setup and the group’s rapidly growing support base.
In October, NMIXX unveiled its first full-length album, Blue Valentine’s Daywhich immediately achieved critical acclaim and commercial success. The album’s title track debuted at number 11 on Melon’s Top 100 chart and topped Bugs’ real-time chart. On his first day, Blue Valentine’s Day it also captured the number one position on both the Hanteo Chart Albums Chart and the Circle Chart Retail Albums Chart, affirming the group’s growing profile at home and abroad.
Formed under JYP Entertainment’s SQU4D sub-label, the six-member lineup of Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin have earned the nickname “hexagonal girl group” for their versatile shows and the genre-fusion concept “MIXX POP”. NMIXX has steadily built its international presence through tours across the United States and Asia, including the “Nice to Mixx You” series in mid-2023 and numerous fan concert dates in Seoul, Hong Kong, Taipei and Macau earlier this year.
The tour title “Episode 1: Zero Frontier” nods to NMIXX’s ambition to push artistic boundaries and explore uncharted musical territories. While the initial dates are limited to the Korean base, JYP Entertainment has indicated that additional international stages will be revealed in the coming months.
AS anticipation mounts for their performances in Incheon, NMIXX is expected to feature a setlist featuring songs from Blue Valentine alongside their previous hits. With this major tour kickoff, NMIXX aims to solidify their status as the next generation K-pop act on the world stage.
