On August 30, 2024, a Korean news agency Job Post published an article about the PD Kim Hyung Jin‘8th long novel. Although he is a highly acclaimed writer and PD himself, what caught the attention of many was the way the article mentioned his relationship with BLACKPINK‘S Jennie.
His new book, World Informant (literal translation), it is said to be about how global stars BLACKPINK Jennie and Psychologist undergo a simulation at a global AI robotic camera center.
The article further claims that “The book is very significant because it was written by PD Kim Hyung Jin, the biological father of BLACKPINK Jennie.”It was further explained that he wrote the book based on real events in his life, from his early days as a trainee up to the present.
The article was deleted by Job Post a few hours after it was published. Netizens managed to take screenshots of the article before it was removed, sparking much discussion on the issue.
Jennie has spoken openly about her mother, even sharing photos taken with her. On the other hand, she has never spoken publicly about her father before, sparking even more interest in his mysterious identity.
