Ejae, best known for providing Rumi’s singing voice in the hit Netflix film “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” confirmed that her debut solo single, “In Another World,” will be released on October 24, 2025.
The announcement came via a handwritten letter posted on her Instagram account, in which she expressed gratitude for the support she received as a songwriter and performer.
Over the past year, Ejae has emerged from behind the scenes globally acclamation. Her co-written track “Golden,” featured on “K-Pop Demon Hunters,” dominated the US Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks and cemented her reputation as both a songwriter and singer.
While promoting “In Another World”, he emphasized that songwriting has always been his true form of expression. “To me, an artist is someone who uses their art to express themselves, and songwriting is my art,” she wrote, noting that sharing this song seemed like the perfect way to connect with listeners on a personal level.
Ejae’s journey to this solo debut spans more than a decade. Born Kim Eun-jae in Seoul and later living in Brooklyn, she trained at SM Entertainment before moving into songwriting and production. His break came in 2018 when he co-wrote Red Velvet’s “Psycho,” which was certified gold in the United States. He has since contributed to tracks by Aespa, Twice and Le Sserafim, building a resume that blends K-pop style with emotional depth.
Beyond the studio work, Ejae’s face and voice did it appeared on American television stages.
