Netflix has officially confirmed the production of its new original series Hotel Gran Galassiawritten by the Hong Sisters, the beloved screenwriting duo behind it Sun of the Master, Hotel Della LunaAND Alchemy of souls.
The fantasy-romantic drama takes place inside a mysterious hotel that comforts wandering souls. The story begins when the hotel president suddenly disappears, leaving behind a secret that connects the living and the dead. Amid supernatural occurrences, viewers will encounter thrilling human stories, spiritual journeys and whimsical mysteries.
Star-studded cast and reunion of a beloved creative team
Leading the series is Lee Do-hyun, one of the most sought after Korean actors he is known for Sweet home, The Glory, Bad motherand the movie Connection. Lee Do-hyun will play Eun-ha, the new president of Hotel Gran Galassiawho takes over after the mysterious disappearance of his predecessor. Eun-ha is described as a sharp but enigmatic figure with a hidden past.
Shin Si-ah, who made a powerful debut in The Witch: Part 2 – The Otherwill play Sang-soon, the hotel’s only human employee — a fearless manager who doesn’t shy away from ghosts and is loved for her professionalism and warmth.
Lee Soo-hyuk joins the cast as Baek-gi, a reaper who purifies lingering evil spirits, showcasing his signature charisma and mysterious charm. Meanwhile, Lee Soo-hyun plays Seok-san, a dangerous and seductive woman shrouded in secrets.
