Speaking on SPNS TV’s YouTube podcast, Chaeyoung reflected on the overwhelming challenges she faced as a young artist navigating sudden fame. He admitted this during his rookie days, especially at the height of “Rejoice” AND “TT” promotions, sometimes he could only sleep thirty minutes a day, two or three hours were a luxury.
Balancing school and non-stop schedules pushed her to her limits. “That was the hardest moment for me” she confessed, noting that the lack of rest made her seriously consider leaving the group altogether. “I thought, ‘I can’t do this anymore’” he admitted.
The stress also led to frequent arguments with her mother, who eventually convinced her to stay. “My mother said to me, ‘You’ve been training for three and a half years – wouldn’t it be a waste to stop now?’” Chaeyoung reminded. Those words struck a chord, making her reconsider whether she might regret straying from the path she had worked so hard for.
