SNS data analytics firm Featuring announced on the 29th that it will regularly release its “Trending Video Report” every month, which includes insights into the most popular types of content and what’s trending on YouTube.
The report provides key insights based on the Featuring AI engine, which can collect and analyze over 300 million SNS data and 16 million global influencer channels in real time. It highlights YouTube’s most viewed content, content with the highest engagement rates, and content that has stayed on the trending list the longest.
According to the August report, BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s YouTube content on “A Spin Around the Block” (7.6 million views) had the highest number of views among domestic YouTube content. It was followed by ▲ “DdeunDdeun” episode 54 “Excuses” (4.2 million views) and ▲ NewJeans’ content on “Channel Fifteen” (3.16 million views).
The report, published on the last Wednesday of every month, offers a detailed analysis of the top 10 pieces of content by views, engagement rate, and more, along with marketing application strategies. More details can be found and downloaded from the Data Effect official blog.
Jang Ji-hoon, CEO of Featuring, said: “The report, which contains the latest trends and perspectives of the most popular video content, should be of great help to business managers who are sensitive to trends. The potential for using social data is limitless and we will contribute to helping companies and brands establish effective marketing strategies in the rapidly evolving social media environment.”
