A famous third-generation K-pop idol opens up about the reality of menstruation

Menstruation or monthly menstrual cycles are something that every woman has to go through, including K-Pop idols. Fans often wonder what their favorite idols do to manage their periods when they are busy. Ex MOMOLAND member Margherita pizza gets this question a lot on TikTok.

Now, Daisy has finally responded to a comment, asking: “Daisy, can you tell us how idols deal with everything during their menstrual cycle, whether they have it or stop it?” He explained that most people still suffer from this disorder.

It’s literally the same as anyone who has a period. Unfortunately, we as a society have decided that people who have periods still have to show up to work. So, we’re all going through it.

Daisy knows that some people can miss their periods due to malnutrition, weight loss, etc. However, she has never met anyone who has had this happen.

There were a lot of people answering other people’s questions, like “A lot of idols actually stop having periods because they’re underweight,” and yeah, that’s probably true for a lot of people because it’s not an uncommon thing for underweight people to have their periods stop. I don’t know how common it was. I personally never saw it happen to anyone.

So in her personal experience, idols have managed their periods like most of us. We still have to show up for work, so we take medicine and endure.

But yeah, most of the time, people just endure, take a pill, and use pads. Unfortunately, there is no magic cure.

A common fear is an accidental loss. Previously, ex SECRET NUMBER member Denise She said she bled through her musical theatre dress while on her period. Daisy explained that stylists are usually prepared for such incidents.

As far as leaks and stuff like that, there are usually spare pants or skirts and you can just talk to your hairdresser and say, “I’m on my period, I can’t wear white, I’m sorry.” And he’ll say, “Oh, okay.”

Daisy revealed that as a student, she suffered from severe menstrual cramps with a pain level of 9/10. So, she was worried about how this would affect her life as an idol. However, when she debuted, her period became surprisingly regular and easy.

Suddenly they became super constant and painless. I don’t know if it was a mental thing, I convinced myself that I actually had no pain, but in the end it worked for me, so I didn’t complain.

She revealed that her cramps have since returned, however. When she returned to her normal lifestyle, the excruciating cramps returned.

It’s like my body is craving stress and hunger.
