One of the most frequently asked questions ex MOMOLAND member Margherita pizza receives on TikTok is how female K-Pop idols handle their periods. So, she posted a much-anticipated video that tells all about their periods.
Yet Daisy shared a shocking story that no one expected.
Daisy explained that pads are not as common in South Korea as, for example, in the United States. Therefore, many girls and women are not familiar with using them.
Sanitary pads are not used very much in Korea. I know many people use them more now, but even when I was an intern, sanitary pads were not used very often.

As a result, when a fellow K-Pop trainee was on her period and wanted to try a tampon, she went to Daisy for help. She literally asked Daisy to help her put in the tampon, and Daisy agreed.
So when I was an intern, this girl was on her period and obviously she needed to move, so she came to me and asked if I could put a tampon in her, and I said, “Yes, I’ll put a tampon in for you.”

Yet, it proved to be a challenge for Daisy too. She failed to fit it in successfully.
So, we were just in the bathroom, face in c*och… and I tried to help her put it in, but unfortunately, that day it didn’t work, sorry. It was like an anatomy lesson for me.
